The FAQ
1. Can I order with cash?
-Yes you can! We allow cash and credit ordering online. Just select the cash option once you reach the final checkout pages. No Credit info needed at all!
2. Why do I have to make an account to use your service online?
-Making an account is free and allows you to save as many addresses and payment options as you like. This makes future restaurant orders faster. Since we don't have to ask you for your delivery info every time. We don't sell or give your personal info to any third parties. We hate spam too!
3. How do I know my credit info is secure?
-A proper question with a huge answer. The Simple version is: Every page having to do with personal information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer protocol. We know, we know technical terms start to make your head swim. This basically means that once you enter your credit info, the numbers become scrambled (like the eggs you may be ordering) and the wondrous internet whisks it off to our payment processor. Who then takes the money for your order, a little of our money, and tells us your all paid up. Your then able to have delicious restaurant food delivered without having to run to the ATM!
4. Why do some restaurants have higher menu prices?
-Unfortunately everything costs money. Not all of our restaurants can afford to pay for the service we provide. Some are also on a "trial" basis with us, they want to see the value of using our delivery network first hand. So in order for us to bring you delicious meals and products wherever you are. We sometimes are forced to mark up menu item prices a maximum of 15%. This allows us and you, to help out many of the local eateries that we all know and love. The small shops with the great food that may be struggling to get by. It also helps us provide you with an easy to use, quality service that just helps make life easier.
5. What's a green delivery?
-The completely optional green delivery means a few things. For starters we won't use any paper products during your order. This means no reciepts, no faxes to restaurants, or the drivers. Everything will be done electronically by emails, texts, and phone.
-For every 10 green deliveries, we plant a tree or shrubbery somewhere within our delivery area. The location is decided by you! Three times a year, we will hold a vote for where you think we should place them. Be it a community garden, school, business, park, or anywhere else that your community could use some improvement!
-Every green delivery we receive we'll set aside .25 cents. Once the amount reaches five hundred dollars we'll award our first Green Energy Grant to a local group or business dedicated to promoting responsible eco-friendly living in New London County. Further grants will increase in amounts as we find the best candidates.
