Our Mission

Whydrive.biz believes that restaurants and the food service industry as a whole. Form the backbone of almost every local economy in the US.  Americans love to eat out and love convenience. So much so that according to the National Restaurant Assoc; we spend around $566 Billion dollars a year eating out at restaurants.

That's around $1.5 Billion dollars a day spent at a restaurant or some other type of food service establishment. WOW!?

Most of those same restaurants are independently owned and operated "brick & mortar" businesses. Meaning that alot of the money spent at these establishments is returned back into the immediate local economy. Whether through taxes, retail purchase and other various expenditures.

WhyDrive.biz hopes to build a stronger consumer awareness about the benefits of purchasing the products they need from Independently owned local businesses. This of course includes restaurant's food, but really means any product that can feasibly be found locally.

The3/50project.net states that if 1/2 of every working American spent just $50 a month spread between three locally owned stores. It would generate over $42,629,700,000 a month in revenue. For every $100 spent $60 will stay within that stores local economy. We're really bad at math, but that means quite a lot of money invested back into things that matter close to home.

Everyone can make a small difference in this tough economy without having to pay for a government bailout, donate to a charity, or feed the corporate machine. All it takes is just stopping in and spending a few bucks at that little shop on the corner you've always noticed. Or hey, just give us a call! An we'll deliver you whatever you need!
